**To list all Sequences and track contact progress in [Papo](https://papo.global/), go to the Flows module. The platform shows the list of available sequences, and from the contact profile you can see which cadence they are enrolled in, as well as pause or cancel future messages to that person.**

Managing follow-up sequences and automated messages is essential to avoid losing leads or annoying those who have already replied. Instead of looking for contacts one by one, you start from the overview of active cadences or the contact profile to make quick decisions.

## Summary of actions to list and manage sequences

| Action | Where to do it | Result |
| :--- | :--- | :--- |
| **List all Sequences** | **Flows** module, filtering by Sequence type | You see the name, identifier, and status (Active/Inactive) of each cadence |
| **View a contact's progress** | Contact profile in the **Contacts** module | See which active Sequences the contact is enrolled in |
| **Pause/remove a contact** | Contact profile, in the active Sequences section | Stops future sends to this contact without affecting others |

## How to access and interpret the list of Sequences

Sequences are part of Papo's **Flows** module. That's where all automated journeys — including follow-up cadences — are centralized.

1. Go to the **Flows** module in the platform panel.
2. In the list, identify entries whose **type** is **Sequence**. This distinguishes scheduled message cadences from other conversation flows.
3. For each sequence, the list shows:
    * **Identifier:** a unique code that identifies the cadence.
    * **Name:** the title you gave the sequence, such as "Post-quote follow-up" or "Trial welcome".
    * **Status:** indicates whether the sequence is **Active** (sending messages to enrolled contacts) or **Inactive** (paused for everyone).

With this view, you can quickly check which cadences are in operation. An inactive sequence does not process any contacts; for it to work again, you need to activate it.

## Tracking contact progress in a Sequence

To find out which stage a contact is at, the most direct path is their profile:

1. Go to the **Contacts** module and search by name or WhatsApp number.
2. Open the profile. The platform displays the Sequences or Flows the person is enrolled in.

On this screen, you see the sequence name and participation status. If the contact is active in the cadence, the next scheduled messages will be sent according to the schedule. If you need to stop sending, the action is done from this same location.

### Removing or pausing a contact from a Sequence

Within the contact profile, in the list of active sequences, you can remove the enrollment. This is equivalent to pausing the sequence for that specific contact.

- **What happens:** future messages from the cadence stop being sent to that person.
- **What remains:** the entire conversation history and messages already sent remain saved in the CRM. Other contacts continue receiving messages normally.
- **If you want to resume:** since the enrollment is canceled, to send messages again you need to enroll the contact again in the sequence (or in a new one), starting the journey from the beginning.

This removal is the fastest way to act when a lead has replied, asked for time, or no longer makes sense to continue in the cadence.

## Who this view is most useful for

- **SDRs and salespeople** who manage multiple follow-up cadences and need to pause a contact as soon as they reply or schedule a meeting.
- **Operations managers** who want to monitor which sequences are active and how many contacts are in each one.
- **Customer Success teams** who use sequences for nurturing and onboarding and may need to stop sends during a parallel negotiation.

## Frequently asked questions

### How do I know a Sequence is actually working?

In the Flows module, the **Active** status next to the sequence indicates it is enabled to send messages. If there are enrolled contacts, sends occur according to the programmed intervals. If it is **Inactive**, no sends are made.

### Can I see all contacts in a Sequence at once?

The list in the Flows module shows the cadence's identifier, name, and status. To check specific contacts, the path is to check each profile or use conversion and campaign reports, if the sequence is linked to a sales funnel in Kanban.

### When I remove a contact from a Sequence, do they lose messages already received?

No. Messages that have already been sent appear in the conversation history in the contact profile. Removal only blocks future sends scheduled for that enrollment.

### What is the difference between removing a contact and pausing the entire Sequence?

Removing the contact stops sends only for that person, keeping other leads in the cadence. Pausing the entire Sequence deactivates the flow for all contacts at once.

### Is there a way to pause temporarily without canceling the enrollment?

Yes. An alternative with custom attributes and conditions in the Flow allows you to pause and resume the cadence from where it stopped. Details on how to build this logic are in the article about temporary pause in the Help Center.

### Where can I see if a contact completed the Sequence?

If the Sequence was completed, the participation no longer appears as active in the profile. For completion analyses, the platform reports and Kanban cards associated with the journey provide a complete view of lead progress.
