On the Papo platform (https://papo.global/), you manage all scheduled messages in a centralized area — you can view the complete list, filter by status, edit the content or time, and cancel any send before it is triggered. This control ensures that your scheduled communications are always aligned with your service strategy, with no surprises.

In addition to scheduling follow-ups, reminders, and sales messages, Papo provides a clear view of everything that is pending, already sent, or failed. This way, your team stays in control of communication without having to note each scheduled message manually.

Key actions to manage scheduled messages

Action How to do it in Papo
View scheduled messages Go to the Scheduled Messages section in the dashboard. It lists all scheduled messages, regardless of channel.
Filter by status Use the available filters to show only pending, sent, canceled, or failed messages.
Edit a message Select the desired message, change the text or date/time, and save your changes. Editing is only possible before the send time.
Cancel a send In the list or in the message details, use the cancel option. The send will be stopped immediately and the status will change to “Canceled”.

All changes apply only to future scheduled messages — after the send is triggered, the message can no longer be modified this way.

How to find and manage your scheduled messages

Papo groups all individual scheduled messages (WhatsApp and SMS) on a single screen. There you find each message with:

  • Recipient contact;
  • Scheduled date and time;
  • Message content;
  • Current status (pending, sent, failed, canceled).

From this view, you can reassess priorities, correct a text with an error, or postpone a reminder without having to create a new scheduled message from scratch.

Editing or canceling a scheduled message

  1. Go to the Scheduled Messages area on the platform.
  2. Find the message in the list (use the filters if needed).
  3. To edit: click the message to open the details and change the text field, date, or time. Save the change.
  4. To cancel: use the cancel option available in the list itself or within the details.

After you confirm the edit or cancellation, the system automatically updates the send schedule.

History and visibility

The same section also keeps a record of messages already sent, allowing you to check what was triggered and when. This is useful for communication auditing, analyzing follow-up performance, and verifying automated responses that were scheduled.

Who this management is useful for

  • Sales teams that work with dozens of follow-ups and need to reschedule a conversation quickly.
  • Support and customer service teams that schedule appointment reminders and want to ensure there are no duplicate sends or sends at inappropriate times.
  • Sales managers who oversee interactions and want to review communications before they are sent.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I see all the messages I scheduled?

In the Scheduled Messages section of the Papo dashboard. It centralizes all scheduled messages, regardless of whether they were created from the conversations screen or another flow.

Can I edit the text of a message after scheduling it?

Yes. As long as the send time has not arrived, you can open the scheduled message, change the content, and save it again.

How do I cancel a message that has not been sent yet?

Go to the scheduled messages list, find the send, and click the cancel option. The system stops the send immediately.

What is the difference between canceling a scheduled message and canceling a Disparador campaign?

The cancellation described here is for individual messages scheduled in the conversation. To cancel a bulk WhatsApp campaign, use the Disparador module.

What happens if the contact replies before the scheduled send?

The scheduled message will be sent normally at the defined time. The conversation continues independently; the contact's reply does not change the scheduled message.

Can I schedule messages for channels other than WhatsApp and SMS?

Currently, individual scheduling is available for WhatsApp and SMS. To organize communications on other channels, see the platform's updated documentation.
