To set up your company profile on Papo (https://papo.global/), go to your account settings and update the name, logo, and time zone. These adjustments ensure that reports, service hours, and scheduling reflect the correct time zone and that your brand identity appears on the platform.

Configuration summary

Field What it does Where to adjust
Company name Appears in reports, header, and communications Settings → Company profile
Logo Customizes the platform and can appear in emails and chat Settings → Company profile (image upload)
Time zone Sets the reference for service hours, reports, and scheduling Settings → Company profile or during initial setup

How to access company settings

In the Papo dashboard, go to the Settings area (gear icon) and find the Company profile or Account section. That's where you'll find the fields for name, logo, and time zone. If you haven't completed the initial setup yet, these options also appear right after email verification, on the company details screen.

Change the company name

In the corresponding field, enter the name you want to display. This name will be used in reports, the platform header, and some automated communications. After editing, save the change.

Add or change the logo

Click the upload area and select an image (common formats like PNG or JPG). The logo appears in the top corner of the platform and can be included in automated emails sent by Papo. It is recommended to use an image with a clean background and square proportion for a better fit. Save after uploading.

Adjust the time zone

Select the correct time zone from the list — for example, America/Sao Paulo for Brasília time. This adjustment is essential so that service hours, message timestamps, and productivity reports reflect the local time of your operation. If you already set the time zone during initial setup, you can change it here at any time.

Why the time zone is important

The time zone directly affects several Papo features:

  • Service hours: the absence message and conversation distribution follow the configured time zone. Outside the defined hours, the customer receives the automatic notice.
  • Scheduling: when using the integrated Google Calendar, the times suggested by the AI and event creation consider the company's time zone. A wrong time zone can generate invitations with the wrong time.
  • Reports: metrics such as "today", "last 7 days", and service volume charts are calculated based on the time zone. Without it, the numbers may appear shifted.
  • Conversation log: the time displayed in each message follows the time zone, making it easier to check deadlines and SLAs.

Keeping the correct time zone avoids confusion between team and customers, especially if your operation serves in a different time zone than where the team is located.

Who this configuration is useful for

  • Companies with remote teams in different time zones that need to align service hours.
  • Businesses that use automatic scheduling and don't want the suggested times to be wrong.
  • Operations that rely on accurate reports to measure productivity and SLA.
  • Those who want the brand's visual identity to appear professionally on the platform.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change the company name later?

Yes. The field is available in settings and can be edited whenever necessary.

Does the logo have a maximum size?

The platform accepts common image formats. Check the recommended dimensions on the upload screen itself for an ideal fit.

If I change the time zone, are old reports recalculated?

Reports will use the new time zone from the change onward. Previous data keeps the time zone that was active when it was generated.

Does the time zone affect the configured service hours?

Yes. The absence message and conversation assignment follow the time zone defined in the company profile.

Do I need special permission to edit the company profile?

Usually, the account administrator has access to these settings. If you can't find the option, check with the person responsible for the account.

Where does the logo appear?

In the platform header and in some automated emails sent by Papo.
